These Ride Terms apply to all bookings and participation in quad hire experiences provided by Trailmoor Devon Rides, based at 14 Queen Street, Exeter, Devon EX4 3SP, England. By confirming a booking, you agree to the following conditions.
1. Safety and Eligibility
Riders must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving licence or equivalent proof of experience. Safety helmets are mandatory for all participants. Before each session, our team conducts a short briefing covering controls, route layout, and emergency communication. We reserve the right to refuse participation if a rider appears unfit, intoxicated, or unable to operate safely.
2. Equipment Use
All quad bikes are maintained in accordance with manufacturer guidance. Participants must handle equipment responsibly and follow guide instructions at all times. Any deliberate misuse or reckless driving may result in immediate suspension of the ride without refund. Minor adjustments or mechanical checks may occur during the ride if terrain conditions require it.
3. Weather and Route Adjustments
Devon weather can change quickly. Routes may be modified or shortened in response to rain, flooding or limited visibility. If we cancel a ride before departure due to unsafe conditions, you may reschedule or receive a full refund. If the route is adjusted while in progress, we will aim to provide an equivalent experience length where possible.
4. Booking and Payment
Bookings are confirmed upon written or electronic acknowledgment from Trailmoor Devon Rides. Payment terms and prices are displayed at the time of booking. Please review all details carefully; submitting a booking implies acceptance of these terms.
5. Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled ride are eligible for a rebooking or credit. Within 48 hours, we may offer a partial adjustment at our discretion. No-shows without prior notice are treated as cancellations.
6. Liability
Trailmoor Devon Rides maintains appropriate insurance for off-road leisure activity providers. Riders participate at their own risk and must follow safety instructions. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings brought on site. These terms do not exclude liability for personal injury caused by our negligence.
7. Data and Privacy
Personal data collected for booking and communication is handled in line with our Data Notice. Basic details are retained for record keeping as required by UK law.
8. Contact and Dispute Resolution
If you have any concerns or wish to raise an issue, please contact us by email or post. We aim to resolve matters directly and fairly.
